It’s Time to Freeze Facial Recognition (or Otherwise Deputize Dystopia)

This week, we’re worried that federal agencies are deploying facial recognition apps to local police without warrants, oversight, or the ability to refuse—and we want to see Congress act now before surveillance infrastructure becomes permanent.
